The Bass at the knees thing is laughable. It doesn't make you sound or play better (actually worse) and sets you up for joint & tendon problems down the line. Don't let supposed style get in the way of substance.

Been playing the Cry Baby Classic & the Vox 847A for years. Tried a number of boutique ones as well. To be fair, Toms Red GCB95 sounded better than both, as well as a CLYDE! That's all she wrote folks, and it didn't cost a fortune. Has the longest throw & widest range of wah effect without all the added garbage. I put it through a HW Plexi 50 watt head, and multiple combos, and it always delivers. NUFF SAID.

in my experience Jim Dunlop makes the best pedals on earth ( i own 2 boss pedals first pedal i bought was a DS-1 was VERY dissapointed) ever since then its mxr i own the evh phase 90 + 5150 OD and a classic wah and a 6 band eq i use them the most (other then my Ts9 i havnt turned that off since i bought it)
